We are a leader in improving clinical outcomes through the advancement and promotion of research, innovation and medical science. Our plastic surgeons are leaders in community service, and in clinical and academic excellence.

State-of-the-Art Care

Our plastic surgery faculty offer state of the art care for patients with a wide range of problems arising from congenital deformity, cancer, trauma and burns. We offer a variety of surgical treatment including craniofacial and cleft lip surgery, breast reconstruction, microvascular reconstruction, hand surgery, and treatment of complex wounds. Our surgeons also perform a complete selection of cosmetic procedures of the face, breast and body. In all of our reconstructive and cosmetic surgery we endeavor to provide comprehensive care that is tailored to the individual patient's needs.

Research and Training

In keeping with our academic mission, our faculty and residents pursue a wide range of research pursuits in tumor biology, wound healing, hemangiomas, stem cells and bone biology, as well as ongoing clinical research to evaluate and improve surgical outcomes. We have one the oldest plastic surgery residencies in the country, with over 100 graduates including three current chiefs of plastic surgery programs, and remain committed to training excellent plastic surgeons who are leaders in our field.
