OASIS
Outpatient Access Soft Tissue Infection Service (OASIS)
The Outpatient Access Soft Tissue Infection Service (OASIS) clinic is a drop in clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital that treats patients with fulminating or emergent soft tissue infections. Services include incision and drainage of abscesses, antibiotic prescriptions, and medically necessary procedures such as removal of foreign bodies and subcutaneous masses. UCSF medical students are invited to attend procedures and observe patient interactions in clinic. If you are interested, please fill out our interest form under the Contact Us heading. Note that you do not need to be a member of PSIG in order to be part of the OASIS elective! All students interested in surgery are welcome. A member of our leadership team will reach out in the Fall to coordinate shifts.
