Biography
Allison Basham is a physician assistant who cares for patients undergoing plastic or reconstructive surgery. She works closely with doctors in both the clinic and the hospital, helping evaluate and prepare patients for surgery. She also assists in the operating room and sees patients for post-op appointments. Passionate about patient education, she strives to ensure her patients feel like active participants in their care.
Basham earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Weill Cornell Medical College. Prior to joining UCSF, she spent six years caring for patients with brain and spinal cord disorders in New York City.
